For those of you who haven't already "heard" via facebook, Mark got laid off this morning. I suddenly feel a new sense of community with the thousands of other people being laid off right now. God will provide, I know that full well. It is just the unknown that is scary. Thanks in advance for the prayers and encouragement. If anyone has any electrical work to do and the money with which to do it, now would be a GREAT time to get some work done!!! :)

It certainly helps to have the living versions of the cute kids to the right of this post to look at, be thankful for, and make me smile. Thank you Lord, for your great understanding, wisdom, and providence.

Devon,

I hate to hear this news. Aaaah... I wish there were good words to say. It sounds like you are trusting God and that's the only thing you can do right now!

Deut 31:8 says, "The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."

Many prayers will be lifted up for your family!

SO sorry to hear this Devon! I'm sure that you will make it through this time only stronger as it appears your faith is in the right place. Keep us posted and put Mark to work around the house while you can ;)

Oh, and I told Jas, so if he ever wants to head up North, I'm sure we can find some work for him to do --- especially if I can talk Jas into finishing the basement soon!
